Before you apply
- A résumé, attached when you register
- WSIB clearance and liability insurance are a plus — bring them if you have them; both are needed before you are sent on an abatement site
- A driver's licence and your own vehicle are a plus
- Sub work: you invoice Safeway per job, you are not an employee
- Experience with post-construction or deep cleaning, and your own equipment, including a HEPA vacuum
The work
Every job ends with a clean: dust and debris after demolition, move-in-ready deep cleans after a renovation, and clean-up after flood and smoke work, including inside cabinets, windows and behind appliances. Homes, condos and small commercial units.
You quote each job from the scope we send; once agreed, that is the price. You invoice Safeway when it is done. Cleaners do not go inside asbestos or mould containment; that stays with our trained crew.
