For contractors
The crew exchange
Every abatement and demolition contractor in this city has the same two weeks: the one where a job lands and there aren't enough people, and the one where the crew is on the yard with nothing booked. Usually they're different companies, in the same month, three blocks apart.
This is a partnership between contractors to fix that. Post what you're short of, or post who you have free. We match the two and introduce you.
How it works
- Your crew stays yours. Members supply their own people under their own supervision — this is subcontracting between contractors, not a labour agency renting bodies out. Nobody's crew changes employer.
- Training is checked before anyone is introduced. We hold expiry dates, not documents. An expired respirator fit test takes a crew off a Type 3 match automatically, and we'll tell you plainly when a match has a gap rather than quietly leaving it out.
- Rates are between you and them. Two companies who can see each other's situation settle a day rate better than a web form does.
- It works both ways or it doesn't work. The members who post idle crew in February are the ones who get covered in July. A network where everyone only ever takes runs out of people.
