Preliminary estimate
Useful numbers without pretending a form can see behind a wall.
Answer a few questions and you get a planning range in about a minute. No account, no obligation, and nobody rings you at dinner about it.

Step 1 of 4 · What you need
What do you need help with?
A range is not a quote. Here is what turns it into one.
Every range on this page is a planning figure. The number that can actually be relied on comes after somebody has been to the property — and what that visit involves depends entirely on what you are dealing with.
asbestos inspection
This books an asbestos inspection at your property — somebody comes to look at the material you have described and, where it is needed, takes samples for an accredited laboratory. It is not the removal, and nobody disturbs anything on the day.
Usually under an hour at the property.
mould inspection
This books a mould and moisture inspection — somebody comes to find how far the growth actually goes and, just as importantly, where the water is coming from. It is not the remediation.
Usually 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how many areas.
damage assessment
This books an assessment of the water damage — how far the water actually travelled, what can be dried and what has to come out. On an active loss, call instead: drying starts on the first visit and every hour counts.
Usually under an hour, and often the same visit the drying starts.
fire and smoke assessment
This books an assessment of the fire and smoke damage — what the residue is, how far the smoke actually travelled, and what can be cleaned rather than replaced.
An hour or more, depending on how much of the building was affected.
site visit
This books a site visit to measure and price the strip-out — what is coming out, what is staying, and what is behind it. It is not the work starting.
Usually 30 to 60 minutes.
site visit
This books a site visit to price putting the room back — framing, boarding, finishing, paint and floors, to the specification you want.
Usually 30 to 60 minutes.
walkthrough
This books a walkthrough to scope the clean — which areas and surfaces are in, how the access works, and the hours it has to happen in. It is not the clean itself, and nothing is committed to until the scope is agreed in writing.
Usually 20 to 40 minutes.
If something is actively getting worse — water coming in, a ceiling down — do not fill in a form. Call 416-474-3978. It is answered around the clock by a person.
