Put the room back.
Abatement, mould, fire, water and demolition work all end with a hole in your home. We close it — drywall, taping, trim and paint — so one contractor sees the job through instead of handing you a half-finished room and a list of other trades to call.

How it works
- 01
Scope what's coming back
Once the removal is done we measure what's actually open — walls, ceilings, trim, flooring — and price putting it back. Doing this while we're already on site is what stops a second contractor re-scoping the same room.
- 02
Drywall, taping and prep
Board, tape, and sand to a finish that will take paint properly. Dust extraction on the sanding, because the point of remediation is not to fill the room with dust again at the end.
- 03
Paint
Primer where the surface needs it, then finish coats. Walls only, walls and ceilings, or adding trim and doors — priced per square foot so you can see what each choice costs before deciding.
- 04
Final clean and handover
Protection lifted, surfaces cleaned, and the room handed back usable rather than 'finished apart from'.
Preliminary estimate
A planning range for the rebuild.
Based on floor area. How much is coming back — walls, ceilings, trim — is what moves the number, so this is a range until we've seen it.
Step 1 of 3 · About the job
Having removal work done first? Ask for both on one quote — the rebuild is priced while we're already scoping the removal, which is faster and avoids a second contractor measuring the same room.
Common questions
Do I have to use you for the rebuild if you did the removal?
No. Plenty of customers have their own contractor, and that's completely fine — we'll leave the space ready for them. We ask on the quote form because when people don't have someone, finding a second trade is the part that stalls the job for weeks.
How is painting priced?
Per square foot of floor area, so it scales with the room rather than a guessed day rate. Walls only is $2.00/sq ft, walls and ceilings $2.75, and adding trim and doors $3.50. Exterior work is $5.00. Drywall repair, a colour change, premium paint, or ceilings over the usual height each add a defined amount on top — all of it itemised on the quote.
Can you match the existing paint?
Usually. Matching into an existing wall is reliable on a flat colour and less so on an aged or sun-faded one, where the honest answer is to paint the full wall corner to corner. We'll tell you which situation you're in rather than trying it and hoping.
Does the rebuild start straight after the removal?
For mould and asbestos work it starts after clearance — the air test that confirms the area is safe. Rebuilding before that would seal in the thing we were paid to remove, so it isn't something we'll do early even if asked.
